Dec 24, 2011 Sat.
Today is a very special, the last Saturday before Christmas. At the tail of 2011, we really desire to have a strong prayer and feel the Love and Promise from God. So the Sat. Bible study focused on this desire, had a meaningful conversation among the group, and hand in hand, conducted an earnest prayer for each of us, loved ones & the world.
Following “A prayer From the Heart” was chanted and studied by – Angela, Dan, Raymond and Dove:
O God, Our Father, we want to thank You
for being everywhere!
We thank You for your long patience
while waiting at the door of our hearts
with blessings to share with us.
Our hope is in you alone:
nourish and fortify our hope.
Grant us strength and courage, day by day.
to be willing servants of Christ, our Redeemer.
O Christ, in Your love, guide us
from darkness to light,
so to appreciate Your love.
May we banish anxiety,
by trusting and reflecting on Your faithfulness.
Teach us patience in our relationships
with our fellow human beings.
May the pure wind of the Holy Spirit
blow away the haze of ignorance,
and the mist of prejudice,
that we may see clearly
what You would have us see.
Lift our eyes from our worldly interests,
to see the sufficiency of Your love
for all our needs, in Christ’s name.
Aman! (God with us)
Dec 17, 2011 Sat.
Today’s Bible Study. The story we read was about Jesus glorified water into wine.
Wow, isn’t this try to show us that we, too, with the right faith and follow Jesus’ example, can glorify our plain life into sweat life?! So, read it for yourself: John 2, Chapter 2, 7
Some how, tonight Dove has a vision, that youngest of her bible study members may become a bishop to Korea in the future. One thing is for sure in dove’s eyes that this young Korean is a great material for becoming a Bishop for Korea someday.
Dec 15, 2011
Tonight, Dove carried a small golden Bible from Don, took a friend, went to meet a new Bible study group and its leader who was a retired Bishop. she felt Don was there and happy. Once returned home, Dove decided to open that bible and say goodnight, randomly, the page and the words jumped to her eyes and heart. Dove felt the importance to share this message:
2 Corinthians 8:18 9
Remember this: Wherever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. and whoever sows generously will also reap generously: Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all time, having all that you need, you will be abound in every good work. …
“May you sow right seeds into 2012 and may you harvest abundance and grow a life that can bring life to others!” Goodnight, Dove closed that golden Bible.
Prior to tomorrow Sat. Bible Study, Dove found following info that at first glance that Dove felt might be helpful to anyone who loves to read Bible.
